This Privacy Policy ("Agreement") outlines how SwapX ("we" or "SwapX"), a decentralized exchange (DEX) built on XONE Chain, collects, uses, and shares your information when you use our services ("Services").

1. Overview & Core Commitment​

SwapX is fundamentally a decentralized platform. Our core commitment to privacy is based on the following:

  • We do not collect or store Personally Identifiable Information (PII) such as name, address, date of birth, or email address.
  • We do not directly store your private keys or control your assets. You are responsible for managing your wallet and asset security.

2. Information We Collect​

We only collect the minimum necessary information to provide and optimize the Services.

2.1 Public On-Chain Data​

Your interactions with the decentralized Services generate data stored publicly on the XONE Chain and other third-party blockchain networks. This includes:

  • Wallet Address: Identifies the initiator and recipient of your transactions.
  • Transaction Records: Details like cross-chain exchange, token purchase, Swap transaction amounts, token types, and timestamps.
  • Smart Contract Interaction: Data related to your interaction with SwapX smart contracts (e.g., exchange requests, gas fees).

Note: On-chain data is inherently public and viewable by anyone via a blockchain browser. We do not control the publicity of this data.

2.2 Limited Off-Chain Data​

When you use the SwapX website (https://swapx.exchange/) or the Document Center (https://docs.swapx.exchange/study), we may collect the following limited information for user experience optimization:

  • Device Information: Device type, operating system, browser version, and language settings.
  • Usage Data: Access time, page browsing history, and click behavior.

2.3 Cookies and Similar Technologies​

We may use cookies and similar technologies (e.g., local storage) to analyze website traffic and improve user experience. You may disable cookies via your browser settings, but this may affect some functionality.

2.4 Third-Party Payment Data​

When purchasing tokens through a third-party provider, SwapX does not directly collect or store your payment information (e.g., bank card number). We may only receive the following associated data:

  • Payment Status: Whether the transaction was successful.
  • Associated Wallet Address: Used to send the purchased tokens to you.

2.5 User-Provided Information​

Information you willingly provide when seeking support or engaging with the community:

  • Support Requests: Information provided when submitting questions via email ([email protected]) or Discord (e.g., wallet addresses).
  • Community Participation: Information shared when participating in activities on Twitter, Telegram, or Discord.

3. How We Use Your Information​

We strictly limit the use of collected information to the following purposes:

  • Provide Services: Process cross-chain exchanges, token purchases, and Swap transactions, and display transaction status.
  • Improve Services: Analyze usage data and optimize website performance and user experience.
  • Customer Support: Respond to support requests and resolve technical issues.
  • Security & Compliance: Screen wallet addresses via blockchain analysis tools to detect and prevent fraud or illegal activities, ensuring compliance with AML/CTF regulations.
  • Not for Marketing: SwapX does not use your information for marketing purposes.

4. How We Share Your Information​

SwapX will not sell or rent your personal information. We may share information under the following circumstances:

  • On-Chain Data: Publicly stored on XONE Chain and related blockchains (Ethereum, TRON, Solana, Binance Chain) and accessible by anyone.
  • Blockchain Analysis Providers: Wallet addresses may be shared with third-party providers to detect illegal activities. No personally identifiable information is shared.

5. Data Storage and Security​

5.1 Storage​

  • On-Chain Data: Stored on XONE Chain and related blockchains, maintained by the respective network.
  • Off-Chain Data: Stored on SwapX servers, subject to the security measures below.

5.2 Security Measures​

  • Encryption: Data in transit is encrypted via HTTPS.
  • Access Control: Only authorized personnel can access non-on-chain data.
  • Reverse Proxy: Used to prevent third-party tools from reading user data.

Reminder: SwapX does not store your private keys or control your assets. You must safeguard your own wallet security.

6. Your Rights​

6.1 Access and Control​

  • On-Chain Data: Viewable via the public blockchain browser.
  • Off-Chain Data: You can request access to the off-chain data we hold by contacting [email protected].
  • Cookies Management: Disable cookies through your browser settings.
  • Opt-out Notifications: Use the "unsubscribe" link in any service notification emails.

6.2 EU (GDPR) and California (CCPA) Rights​

Users in the EU and California residents may exercise their respective rights (access, correction, restriction, objection, or deletion of off-chain data). Please contact [email protected].

Note on Deletion: On-chain data cannot be deleted due to the immutable nature of the blockchain. SwapX does not "sell" personal information (as defined under the CCPA).

7. Other Important Terms​

  • Children's Privacy: SwapX services are not intended for children under 18. If you discover any collection of a child's information, please contact [email protected] immediately for data deletion.
  • International Data Transfer: SwapX's servers may be located in multiple jurisdictions.
  • Agreement Changes: We may update this Agreement. The updated version will be posted on https://docs.swapx.exchange/study and notified via announcement or email before taking effect. Continued use of the service constitutes agreement to the updated terms.
